Acomb's Methodist Church is situated on Front Street in Acomb and dates from the 1950s. The First World War Memorial plaque was transferred here from an earlier building. The names of two men of the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the memorial, Private Percy Jarvis and Corporal Eric Irvine Crowe.
We are very grateful to Richard Roberts (<richard.nsw@googlemail.com>) who has taken the photos of the memorial plaque and the church for this website.
