The Parish Hall in Asfordby (Leics) was officially opened on 23 September 1927. At the entrance is a War Memorial tablet bearing the names of the 39 men of the village who gave their lives in the Great War, one of whom served with the Yorkshire Regiment.

After the second World War a further tablet was added bearing the names of 16 men who died in that war.

Mr Trevor Hearn of Asfordby has prepared a Memorial book in which photographs of the hall and the tablets are presented, together with details of the men whose names are recorded on the tablets. The photographs on this page are taken from that Memorial book.
