The War Memorial for Bedford (Queen's Park) is on the outside of All Saints' Church. There are two memorial panels, shown below, on either side of a crucifix. One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on these panels.


Private William Ernest Dumbleton. 260059. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Marie Holton, of Banbury, Oxon.; husband of Nellie Dumbleton, of 80, Honey Hill Rd., Bedford. Killed 19 July 1917. Aged 37.
Born Banbury (Oxfordshire), Enlisted Bedford.
Buried HENINEL COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION.
