The War Memorial for Bewcastle (Cumbria) is an obelisk, sitting in St. Cuthbert's Churchyard. The dedication of the memorial, and the names of those on it, take up the four sides of the base. These panels are shown below.

Serjeant Septimus Waugh. 17906. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James and Catherine Waugh, of Row, Roadhead, Carlisle. Killed 7 June 1917. Aged 29.
Born Bewcastle (Brampton), Enlisted Burnley, Resided Carlisle.
