The First World War Memorial in St. Mary's Church, Bideford (Devon), is a marble plaque with names of those who lost their lives inscribed in five columns. 187 men and 2 women are commemorated on this memorial.
In addition to the above memorial, there is a smaller one which commemorates a number of men from the Church Lad's Brigade (No 414 Company) who lost their lives in the war. Four of the names are additional to names found on the main War Memorial.
