The War Memorial in St. Edburgha's Church, Yardley (Birmingham)
is a carved wooden plaque with the names of 60 men who lost their lives in
the First World War. Also carved on this plaque are their regimental badges.
Beneath the main plaque is another plaque ("Also the Following")
with the names of 34 men.
Amongst these names is that of a soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.
We are very grateful to Graham Andrews (<graham.andrews5@btopenworld.com>), a nephew of this soldier, who has provided the photographs of the War Memorial in St. Edburgha's Church, Yardley (Birmingham).
