The War Memorial for Bishop Middleham is a wheel cross standing in front of the church of St. Michael.

Corporal Ronald Bulman. 17692. 9th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William & Agnes Bulman, of Bishop Middleham, Ferryhill, Durham. Died at home 13 March 1918. Aged 21.
Enlisted Sunderland, Resided Bishop Middleham (Ferryhill).
Buried HENDON CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM.
(Additional information : Occupation was a limestone quarryman. Enlisted 28/11/1914. Discharged 12/4/1917 due to Neurasthenia brought on by shell shock.)
