The Roll of Honour in Brotton's Church of St. Margaret of Antioch commemorates 109 men who lost their lives in the First World War (112 names are shown on the Roll of Honour, but three are duplicates). Also commemorated are 22 men who lost their lives in the Second World War.

Those commemorated are found not only on the Brotton War Memorial, but the Carlin How, Skinningrove and Staithes War Memorials.

56 of the names commemorated are of men who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.
