The War Memorials in Darlington's Royal Mail Centre

Inside the Royal Mail's main centre in Darlington, - located off St. Cuthbert's Way, with the entrance in Park Street (off Victoria Street), are two commemorative plaques for postal workers who lost their lives in both the First and Second World Wars.
Of the 25 names commemorated for the First World War, one is that of a soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.
We are very grateful to Colin Bainbridge of "About Darlington" for providing the photos of both the memorials and of the exterior of the Royal Mail's main centre in Darlington.
