Regiment War Graves, - Dury Crucifix Cemetery, Pas de Calais (France) |
![]() |
The cemetery was begun by Canadian units immediately after
the capture of the village. At the Armistice it contained 72 graves, but it
was then enlarged by the concentration of graves from the battlefields of
April and May 1917, and March, August, and September 1918. There are 2058
First World War casualties buried in the cemetery, and of these 1766 are unidentified.
Amongst the graves are 4 for soldiers of the Yorkshire Regiment.
