The Duston War Memorial is at the start of Churchway on the junction of Main Road with Millway, Duston, Northants.

The names of 30 men from the First World War are commemorated and 13 men from the Second World War.

Amongst those commemorated is one soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.


Private Walter Joseph Webb. 6150. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Only son of Frank and Annie Webb, of Main Rd., New Duston, Northampton. Killed 21 November 1916. Aged 20.
Born Oldham, Enlisted Northampton, Resided New Duston.
Buried ST. SEVER CEMETERY EXTENSION, ROUEN.
