Private William Burnett Agar, 4094. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Matthew and Jane Ann Agar, of Cross Farm, Egton, Yorks. 18 September 1916. Aged 19.
Enlisted Whitby, Resided Egton.
Commemorated on Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.

Private Joseph Surr Corner, 33389. 1st/5th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment, formerly 45601 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Tom and Susannah Corner, of Woodbine Cottage, Egton, Grosmont, Yorks. 23 September 1918. Aged 21.
Born Egton (Yorks), Enlisted Whitby (Yorks), Resided Egton (Yorks).
Commemorated on Panel 9, VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL.

Private Harry Pybus, 11434. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Francis and Hannah Pybus, of East End, Egton, Yorks. Killed 21 August 1915. Aged 23.
Born Egton (Whitby), Enlisted Whitby, Resided Egton.
Commemorated Panel 55 to 58, HELLES MEMORIAL.

Private George Wompra Welbury. 36112. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Husband of Mary Jane Welbury, of Egton, Egton Bridge, Yorks. Killed 2 April 1917. Aged 28.
Born Newholme, Enlisted Whitby, Resided Grosmont (Yorks).
Buried HENIN CRUCIFIX CEMETERY.
