("Falforth" should be Fatfield.)

Private Joseph Ramshaw. 12792. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late William Ramshaw; husband of Emily Clara Richardson (formerly Ramshaw), of 50, Cory St., Ryhope, Co. Durham. Killed 8 February 1917. Aged 42.
Born Fatfield (Sunderland), Enlisted Sunderland, Resided Ryhope.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.

Lance Corporal George Brotton Smith, D C M. 13979. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 1 July 1916.
Born Harraton, Enlisted Washington.
Buried FRICOURT BRITISH CEMETERY.
