Lance Corporal Fredrick Herron, MM. 200184.
4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Brother of Herbert Herron, of Cliffe Bank, Piercebridge, Darlington. Died 29 October 1918. Aged 23.
Born Kirby Whiske (Thirsk), Enlisted Helperby, Resided Brafferton.
Buried ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY.

Private Enoch Newton. 4216.
4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 2 August 1916.
Enlisted Guisborough, Resided Skelton Green.
Buried BAILLEUL COMMUNAL CEMETERT EXTENSION, NORD.

Private William Scott. 241064. 12th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. E. Scott, of Piercebridge, Darlington. Died 11 April 1918. Aged 39.
Born Darlington.
Commemorated on Panel 4, PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL.

Private John Francis Waller, 1681. 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Alfred and Mary Jane Waller, of 13, Piercebridge, Co. Durham. Killed 17 September 1916. Aged 26.
Born Yafforth (Northallerton), Enlisted Skelton, Resided Piercebridge.
Commemorated on Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
