The Godmanchester War Memorial is a stone cross, located on a green at the Northern end of Godmanchester. The green is beside the B1044 road, between Post Street and Park Lane.
77 men are commemorated on the memorial as having lost their lives in the First World War. 12 men and 1 woman are commemorated as having lost their lives in the Second World War.

One Officer of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.


Major Gerald Norman Hunnybun, MC. 9th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Mentioned in Despatches. Youngest son of Gerald and Leta Hunnybun, of Old Court Hall Godmanchester, Huntingdon. Killed 23 October 1918. Aged 31.
Buried POMMEREUIL BRITISH CEMETERY.
