There are two War Memorials in the Golcar Central Liberal Club, - located in Church Street, Golcar.
One memorial, - a brass plaque commemorating those who died, surrounded by panels honouring those who served, is for the First World War. 14 men are commemorated as having lost their lives on this memorial, of whom 2 were men who had served in the Yorkshire Regiment.
A further memorial commemorates those who died (1 man) and served in the Second World War.

We are very grateful to the Golcar Central Liberal Club for providing the photos of the two memorials for this website.
