Private Thomas William Hardiman, 34912. 9th Battalion King's Own (Yorkshire Light Infantry), formerly 5405 Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Joseph and Maria Hardiman, of West End, Long Preston, Yorks. Killed 9 April 1917. Aged 39.
Born Wellbeck (Yorks), Enlisted Easingwold.
Commemorated Bay 7, Arras Memorial.
(Additional information supplied by Bill Evers;- "Thomas Hardiman was a gamekeeper at New Parks.")

Private George Hayden, 36079. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 13 October 1916.
Born Haxby (Yorks), Enlisted Easingwold.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, Thiepval Memorial.
(Additional information supplied by Bill Evers;- "George was a Farm Servant, born in Wigginton, the eldest of seven children of farm labourer Jacob and Elizabeth Hayden all living in Sutton On The Forest in 1911.")
