The Irchester War Memorial is situated at the junction of High Street, Wollaston Road and Farndish Road, Irchester.
The names of 74 men from the First World War are commemorated and 17 men
from the Second World War. In addition, there is a plaque commemorating nine
local people killed during an air raid on 20th May 1944.
Amongst those commemorated are 2 soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.

Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 5113 Northants Regt. Son of Ephraim and Fanny
Laughton, of 6, Thrift St., Irchester, Northants. Killed 26 April 1917. Aged
20.
Born Irchester (Northants), Enlisted Irchester.
Buried WARLINCOURT HALTE BRITISH CEMETERY.
Private Arthur Robinson. 202260. 8th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Formerly 3920 Northants Regt. Killed 19 September 1917.
Enlisted Northampton, Resided Irchester.
