"GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS.
THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."

Private Percival Barker Garner, 1821. 1st/5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Albert Edward and Betsy Garner, of Market St., Kirbymoorside, Yorks. Killed on 1 May 1916. Aged 26.

Private Thomas Gibson, 3348. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed on 22 July 1916.

Private James Johnson, 3953. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed on 17 September 1916. Aged 21.
