The War Memorial for Langley (Norfolk) stands at junction of Langley Street, Langley Green and Staithe Road adjacent to the former Wherry Pub, now a private house. The names of those commemorated on the memorial, with brief biographical details and photos of the commemorative panels on the memorial, are given on the Roll of Honour website.
12 men who lost their lives in the First World War are commemorated on the memorial.
One soldier who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is amongst these names.
Private Leonard George Everett. 33099. 10th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment, formerly 3721 Norfolk Regt. Son of William and Elizabeth Everett,
of Langley, Norwich. Killed 3 April 1917. Aged 25.

Commemorated Bay 5, ARRAS MEMORIAL.
(SDGW shows Leonard George Everett as having first served in the Norfolk Regiment,
but the Medal Rolls Index shows him as being in the 4th Battalion Northumberland
Fusiliers (No 9160) before serving in the Yorkshire Regiment.)
