Lance Corporal James Allen. 8456. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Son of Mrs. Jane Allen, of 1 Court, 2 House, Salmon St., Club Garden Rd.,
Sheffield; husband of Annie Elizabeth Allen (nee Machen). Killed 15 June 1915.
Aged 29.

Serjeant John Anderson. 8150. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Killed 10 March 1915.
Born Norton (Malton - Yorks), Enlisted Malton.

Private Frederick Angell. 7003. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Angell, of 84, Cecil Rd., Sharrow, Sheffield; husband
of Eliza Angell, of 29 Scamans Yard. North St., York. Killed 15 June 1915.
Aged 33.
Born Evesham (Worcester), Enlisted Sheffield, Resided York
Lance Serjeant John George Atkinson. 9658. 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire
Regiment. Killed 15 June 1915.
Born Darlington, Enlisted Middlesbrough.
(John George Atkinson landed with the 2nd Battalion in Dunkirk on 5 October
1914. He was aged 24 at the time of death, - born 1891.
In 1901 he was living in Ormesby (Middlesbrough), - 33 Esk Street, with brothers
including Herbert and Sydney.
In 1911 he was a boarder at 45 Beaumont Streert, N Ormesby. He was a labourer.
His effects were left to Mrs Clara Ann Plunkett (sister) and brothers Herbert,
Michael, & Sydney.)
