Richard Roberts (<richard.nsw@googlemail.com>) has forwarded photos of the War Memorial for St. George's in Leicester City.

The Leicester (St. George's) Memorial is situated in the churchyard of St. George's Church, Rutland Street, in a secluded area in the middle of Leicester City. The church itself was built during 1823-1827, the first Anglican church to be built in the City after the Reformation. It is now used as a Place of Worship by the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The war memorial sited in the Churchyard commemorates the names of some 42 men killed in the First World War, including one man who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.
