The book carries the name of Lance Serjeant John Thomas Limmer of the Yorkshire Regiment, in the month of July (see photo) and Private Herbert ("Bertie") Blakey.

Blakey. Born at Grassington. Died at home 18 October 1917. Aged
18.
Born Grassington, Enlisted Harrogate, Resided Grassington.
Buried LINTON-IN-CRAVEN (ST. MICHAEL) CHURCHYARD.
Lance Serjeant John Thomas Limmer, 11491. 8th Battalion the Yorkshire
Regiment. Son of Robert and Mary Limmer, of Grassington, Skipton, Yorks; husband
of Rose Webster (formerly Limmer), of 24, Pearson St., Newport, Middlesbrough,
Yorks. Killed 10 July 1916. Aged 33.
Born Normanby (Eston, Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided Guisborough.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
