St. Leonard's Church, Loftus is to the right hand side of the A174 Carlin How to Easington road. Heading in Whitby direction go through town, straight on at B1366 traffic lighted junction to top of bank. St Leonard's church is to your right, a short distance up a narrow lane. The Memorial Plaque for the First World War is behind to your right upon entering church. There is a similar Plaque for WW2.

There are several names which appear on the Church Plaque which do not appear on the Town War Memorial.
