Private John Waites. 19314. 10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Waites, of 26, Henry St., Seaham Colliery, Co. Durham. Killed 28 September 1915. Aged 24.
Born Boldon Close (Durham), Enlisted Seaham Harbour, Resided New Seaham Colliery.

Private Albert Wakeham. 9396. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Kate Theresa Southern, of 1, Surtees St., Hopetown, Darlington. Killed 30 September 1915. Aged 23.
Born St. Heliers (Jersey CI), Enlisted Darlington.

Private Alfred Timothy Walker. 19974. 3rd Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment attached to the 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Joseph and Marie Walker, of Cottingham, Yorkshire. Killed 23 July 1916. Aged 21.
Born Hull, Enlisted Hull.
Commemorated on the Addenda Panel, LOOS MEMORIAL.

Private William Walker. 11970. 10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 26 September 1915.
Born Market Weighton (Yorks), Enlisted Hull.

Corporal Gilbert Hodgson Walkington. 11257. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Frank Walkington, of 3, Glykoline Terrace, Carlton Ironworks, Ferryhill, Co. Durham. Killed 9 May 1918. Aged 22.
Born Carlton, Enlisted Stockton-on-Tees, Resided Ferryhill (Stockton).

Lance Corporal Harry Walton. 7924. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Brother of Mrs. Annie Clarke, of Hademore Crossings, Whittington, Lichfield, Staffs. Killed 25 September 1915. Aged 31.
Born Trinity Tamworth (Staffs), Enlisted Derby, Resided Chelleston.

Private Septimus Walton. 17577. 10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 28 September 1915.
Born Newcastle, Enlisted North Shields, Resided Walker (Newcastle).

Lieutenant Cyril Francis Webb. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 25 September 1915.

Private Frederick Whitham. 3/8243. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Husband of Emma Whitham, of 91, Heeley Green, Sheffield. Killed 26 September 1915. Aged 32.
