The Lowdham War memorial is situated on a small triangular green, between the main A612 Southwell Road and Station Road in Lowdham. 62 names are recorded on this memorial for the First World War, and 4 are from the Second World War.

2 names on the memorial are those of men who served in the Yorkshire Regiment.

Private George Dickenson. 33063. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 4634 Northumberland Fusiliers. Killed 23 March 1918.
Born Lawdham (Notts), Enlisted Melton Mowbray, Resided Plungar (Leics).
Commemorated on Panel 31 and 32, POZIERES MEMORIAL.
(Name spelt "Dickinson" on the Lowdham village memorial)

Serjeant Walter Foster. 29863. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 32687 Notts & Derby Regt. Son of George and Ann Foster, of Caythorpe, Nottingham. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 27.
Born Claythorpe (Notts), Enlisted Newark, Resided Claythorpe (Lowdham - Notts).
Commemorated on the SOISSONS MEMORIAL.
