The First World War Memorial in All Saints' Church, Middlesbrough, consists of two engraved brass plaques on either side of the Altar of Remembrance. The left hand plaque commemorates those men who served and returned in the First World War, whilst the right hand plaque commemorates those who lost their lives.
Between the two plaques is a sculpture representing St. George.

7 names are commemorated as having lost their lives in the First World War, of whom 5 are shown as having served in the Yorkshire Regiment. Of these 5 names, however, there is no record of one of the names.

The photos of the memorial plaques are in Bolckow's Flickr photostream, and we are extremely grateful for being allowed use of these photos.
