The Nantwich War Memorial is situated near in front of St. Mary's & St. Nicholas's Church, Nantwich.
The Memorial commemorates the names of 175 men who lost their lives in the First World War, and 44 men who fell in the Second World War.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.


Lance Corporal Thomas Minshull, 202162. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Thomas Minshull; husband of Mary Jane Minshull, of 2, Gorton Rd., Lower Openshaw, Manchester. Died 9 October 1917. Aged 35.
Born Nantwich (Cheshire), Enlisted Manchester, Resided Openshaw.
Commemorated Panel 52 to 54 and 162A, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.
