The War Memorial in St. Peter's Church, Redcar (Cleveland)
The First World War Memorial for Redcar is inside the Church
of St. Peter's, and is a Roll of Honour tablet as shown above. The names of
the men recorded on this memorial are to be found in the Middlesbrough
Archives.
(Curiously, the War memorial in Redcar's town centre, although inscribed as
being for the dead of both World Wars, only carries the names of the dead
from the Second World War).
