Corporal John Thomas V Grayson. 240896. 5th Battalion
Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. M. Grayson, of Railway St., Rillington, Malton,
Yorks. Died 8 May 1918. Aged 21.
Born Bossall (Yorks), Enlisted Driffield, Resided Sledmere (Malton).
Buried BERLIN SOUTH-WESTERN CEMETERY.
Private Arthur Rex. 19692. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Son of Thomas and Hannah Rex, of Ling Farm, Fimber, York; husband
of Alice Rex, of Spring Cottage, High St., Thornton-le-Dale, Pickering, Yorks.
Died 11 April 1917. Aged 39.
Born Thornton-le-Dale, Enlisted Malton, Resided Rillington.
Buried ABBEVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION.
Rifleman Albert William Ryder. 207571. 19th Battalion
Rifle Brigade, formerly 3163 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William
Ryder, of Sledgate, Rillington, Malton. Died 1 January 1917. Aged 20.
Enlisted Loftus (Yorks), Resided Loftus.

Private Herbert William Swain. 7727. 2nd Battalion
Yorkshire Regiment. Husband of Emma Louise Swain, of 33, Albio St., Otley,
Leeds. KIlled 11 March 1915. Aged 33.
