The War Memorial in Ripon's Spa Gardens

The War Memorial in Ripon's Spa Gardens is in the form of a
column, with the sculpture of the head of a First World War soldier on its
top. The base carries the names of the dead of both the First and Second World
Wars on each of the four sides.
The Memorial is inscribed;-
"IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF RIPON MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY
IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 AND THE WORLD WAR 1939 - 1945."

1918. Aged 23.

Son of Sadler and Elizabeth Pratt, of Newton-on-Ouse, York. Died 22 September
1916. Aged 29.

that could possibly be the one)

7 July 1916. Aged 20.
