The First World War Memorial plaque commemorating employees of the Royal Mail from Durham City is located in the public foyer of the Durham Delivery Centre in the Carrville Industrial Estate, Belmont. The plaque was moved from old Durham General Post office, Providence Road, Durham in 1995. The plaque is now in a prominent place in the public foyer from where undelivered mail can be collected by the general public.
