Corporal Frederick William Dove, 235682. 2nd/4th Battalion Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment), formerly 1402 1st/5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Frederick and E. E. Dove, of Scarborough. Killed 6 September 1918. Aged 27.

(Corporal Dove is not shown in SDGW as having previously been in the Yorkshire Regiment. This omission was pointed out to us by Trevor Edgecock, <Trevor.Edgecock@uk.thalesgroup.com>, who further drew attention to a link which provides a very full account of Corporal Dove's service with both the Yorkshire Regiment and the West Riding Regiment.
