Serjeant Joseph Petch. 13018. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Petch, 35, Batty Place, Scarborough; husband of Mrs. Petch, of 3, Niso Terrace, Long West Gate, Scarborough. Served in the South African Campaign. Killed 20 January 1916. Aged 38.
Born Sutton-in-Ashdale (Notts), Enlisted Scarborough.
