Corporal Alfred Rayner. 236312. 1st/8th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own), formerly 1705 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William Charles and Annie Rayner, of 24, Tindall St., Scarborough. Killed 29 August 1918. Aged 22.
