Born Horsehouse (Yorks), Enlisted Leyburn (Yorks), Resided Middleham (Yorks).

Private Granville Douglas Cobb, DCM. 39863. 9th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, formerly 23074 the Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 18 October 1918.

Private George Coe. 34393. 2nd/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment), formerly 46548 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Margaret Coe, of Queen St., Grange Villa, Co. Durham; husband of Esther Coe, of 8, Urpeth Terrace, High Hold, Pelton, Co. Durham. Killed 12 September 1918. Aged 25.
Born Backworth (Northumberland), Enlisted Chester-le-Street (Durham).
Commemorated Panel 6, VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL.

Private Horace Colman. 39475. 1st Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly (8677) Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Colman, of King's Lynn, Norfolk. Died 8 August 1919. Aged 37.
Commemorated KARACHI 1914-1918 WAR MEMORIAL.
(Medal Rolls Index card shows that he had been a Serjeant in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers).
