Commemorated on the SOISSONS MEMORIAL.

Serjeant John Dawson, MM, 240072. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Annie Maria Dawson, of High St., Hovingham Spa, Malton, Yorks, and the late George Dawson. Killed 27 May 1915. Aged 27.
Born Hovingham (Malton), Enlisted Hovingham.

Private Alvery Dodsley Day. 201854. 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Elizabeth Day, of 20, Montrose St., Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Yorks. Died 27 May 1918. Aged 21.
Born Saltburn, Enlisted Saltburn.

Private Eric Munro Denham. 34683. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 30549 Yorks Dragoons. Son of Albert Marsden Denham and Mary Ellen Denham, of Holme Cottage, Lightcliffe, Halifax. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 18.
Born Brighouse (Yorks), Enlisted Halifax, Resided Brighouse.

Private Richard James Densley. 201046. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Charles W. Densley, of Cole Hill, Rettendon, Common, Chelmsford, and the late Mary Ann Densley. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 21.
Enlisted Northallerton, Resided Chelmsford.

Private John Robert Dinsdale. 13157. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Died 26 March 1918.
Born Hawes (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough.

Private James Henry Dixon. 46701. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James and Barbara Dixon, of 3, Etherley Moor, Bishop Auckland. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 24.

Private Wilfred Donnell. 48458. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Donnell, of 3, Dennison's Yard, North Bondgate, Bishop Auckland. Killed 27 May 1918. Aged 19.

Private Arthur Dowdeswell. 35753. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 3950 Glos Yeomanry. Husband of Alice Maud Dowdeswell, of Providence Cottage, Butterrow, Stroud, Glos. Killed 25 May 1918. Aged 37.
