Private Thomas BEAUMONT, 235487.
9th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 7538 DLI. Son of George and
Eliza K. Beaumont, of 24, Cobden St., Batley, Yorks. Killed 5 October 1918.
Aged 21.
Born Grimsby, Enlisted Pontefract, Resided Batley (Yorks).
Buried BEAUREVOIR COMMUNAL CEMETERY BRITISH EXTENSION.
Thomas Beaumont was born in Caistor, Lincs, in Q3 1896.
His father was George and mother Eliza.
In 1901 the family was living in Batley, Yorkshire.
In 1911the family address was 24a Cobden Street, Batley.
Thomas was ashown as an Office Boy in the 1911 Census.
His brother, William, was in the West Yorkshire Regiment and was killed on
19 July 1916.
