2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 23927 East Yorks Regt. Son of H. and G. Brown, of Hull; husband of Mary Brown, of 24, Church St., Hull. Killed 2 April 1917. Aged 29.
Born Beverley (Yorks), Enlisted Hull.
Buried HENIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION.

Allan Brown was born on 7 March 1888, the son of Henry John Brown (1861 - 1930) and Gertrude Emily Merritt (1866 - 1947).
He married Mary Harrison in 1915.
He had one brother, Arthur, and four sisters, - Mabel, Gertrude, Alice and Emily.
