10th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Jane Earnshaw, of West Bank, Kirkby Malham, Bell Busk, Leeds. Killed 1 July 1916. Aged 26.
Born Skipton, Enlisted Keighley, Resided Bell Busk (Nr Leeds).
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
