3rd Battalion attached to 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late Rev. David M. W. Laird, of 26, Napier Rd., Edinburgh. Killed 8 July 1916. Aged 20.

Commemorated on Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
