9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Joseph D. and Elizabeth Miller, of 54, Salvin St., Spennymoor, Co. Durham. Died 2 October 1917. Aged 24.
Born Spennymoor, Enlisted Spennymoor (Co. Durham).
Commemorated Panel 52 to 54 and 162A, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.
