7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 163856 RFA. Husband of B. Stanley, of 21, Gardner St., Southern Cross, Sussex. Died of wounds 16 April 1917. Aged 34.
Born Brighton, Enlisted Hove, Resided Portslade (Sussex).
Buried ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY.


George Pittock was born in Brighton in Q1 1884. (He is shown as George Alfred Pittock in the register, but the middle name seems to have been dropped.)
His parents were John and Emily Pittock.
He married Elizabeth Collins in July 1906 and they had one son. George.
In the 1911 census, he (and his wife are shown as being a "Hawker"., living at 9 george Street, Portslade, Sussex,
