The War Memorial for St. Andrews (Fife) is at the junction of North Street and South Street, close to the Cathedral and Priory.

The names of those who lost their lives in the First World war are comemorated on eleven stone panels, set in a screen wall behind the main memorial. The names are arranged per unit / regiment.

One Officer who served with the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.

Private Logan Studley, 10397 / 2nd Lieutenant Logan Studley
2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 25 October 1914. Aged 18.
Buried YPRES TOWN CEMETERY.

(Lieutenant Studley is shown on the memorial as being in the East Yorkshire Regiment. This is because he was still serving with the Yorkshire Regiment when killed. His commission into the East Yorkshire Regiment had only been announced one week previously.)
