Private John Gallear, 11241. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Martha Gallear, of 14, Portskewett St., Newport; husband of Sarah Ann Gallear, of 29, Lloyd St., Liswerry, Newport, Mon. Killed 27 September 1916. Aged 31.

Corporal Daniel Gildea, DCM. 3/7822. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Kate Gildea. Killed 27 September 1916. Aged 25.

Educated at Merton Court Preparatory School, Sidcup, and Kings School, Canterbury, entered for St. Johns College, Oxford. Killed 5 November 1916. Aged 21.

2nd Lieutenant Arthur Charles Goodall. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late Robert and Emily Sarah Goodall. Killed 6 November 1916. Aged 22.

Corporal Samuel Goodchild. 2072, 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 15 September 1916.
