Enlisted Oundle (Northants).

Private Thomas Underwood. 22793. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Esther Underwood, of 186, North St., South Bank, Yorks. Killed 30 September 1916. Aged 29.
Born Grosmont (Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided Grangetown.

Private Frederick Uren. 17179. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Anne Uren, of Dobson's Yard, Loftus, Yorks, and the late William Henry Uren. Killed 1 July 1916. Aged 21.
Enlisted Easington (Yorks), Resided Boulby (Easington).

Private Frederick Norman Urwin. 26304. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Elizabeth Urwin, of 8, Dixon St., Stockton-on-Tees. Killed 7 October 1916. Aged 24.
Born Stockton, Enlisted Stockton-on-Tees, Resided Stockton.

Private George Edward Usher, 6547. 4th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment, formerly of the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Robert and Margaret Usher, of Keeper's Lodge, Todmorstones, Drake Hill, Bingley, Yorks. Killed 7 September 1916. Aged 18.
Born Downholme, Resided Hurst.
Commemorated Pier and Face 14 A and 14 B, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.

Private George Vickers. 18594. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 18 September 1916.
Born Pennsylvania (America), Enlisted Seaham Harbour, Resided New Seaham Colliery.
