Lance Corporal Henry Young. 27018. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Winifred Violet Young, of Prospect House, Hightown Heights, Liversedge, Yorks. Killed 8 February 1917. Aged 24.
Born Rawcliffe (Yorks), Enlisted Heckmondwyke, Resided Hightown (Liversedge).

Lance Corporal James Young. 11634. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Husband of Jane Eleanor Young, of 99, Leighton St., South Shields. Killed 27 September 1916. Aged 33.
Born South Shields, Enlisted South Shields.
(The 1911 Census shows that his full name was James William Frances Young, aged 28. He was a house painted, living at 99 South Woodbine Street, South Shields. .
The CWGC shows him as being a Private, but his Pension Record shows him as being a Lance Corporal.)

Private John Young. 16574. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James and Margaret Young, of 4, Clarence St., South Hetton, Co. Durham. Killed 1 July 1916. Aged 23.
Born South Hetton, Enlisted Sunderland, Resided South Hetton.

Private William Young. 13040. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 1 July 1916.
Born Willington (Durham), Enlisted Durham, Resided Willington.
