Richard Roberts (<richard@nosnailshere.co.uk>) has forwarded a photo of the War Memorial for Tilney St. Lawrence in Norfolk, which includes the name of a soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment.

Serjeant Daniel Thomas Whetton, MM, 19072. 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly 19563 Yorks L I. Son of Alfred Daniel and Mary Anne E. Whetton, of Tilney St. Lawrence, King's Lynn. Killed 25 April 1918. Aged 22.
Born Leighton (Lincoln), Enlisted Doncaster, Resided King's Lynn.
Commemorated Panel 52 to 54 and 162A, Tyne Cot Memorial.

Sadly,Serjeant Whetton's elder brother, - Corporal John Charles Whetton (43411) of the 8th Battalion Norfolk Regiment, was killed on 22 October 1917 aged 23, and is also commemorated on this memorial.
