Private James William Jackson. 72872. 143rd Coy. Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), formerly 29081 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Mary Ann Jackson, of 14, Lock St., Todmorden. Killed 26 August 1917. Aged 37.
Born Todmorden (Yorks), Enlisted Todmorden.

Private John Jackson, 30656. 1st Battalion the East Yorkshire Regiment, formerly 20537 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Thomas and Hannah Jackson, of Appersett, Hawes, Yorks. Killed 16 April 1918. Aged 23.
Born Hawes, Enlisted Leyburn (Yorks).

Lance Serjeant Robert Jackson, MM, 19313. 8th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Mentioned in Despatches. Killed 22 September 1917.
Born Wheatley Hill (Durham), Enlisted Sunderland, Resided Murton Colliery (Durham).

Lance Corporal Christopher Hunter Jacques, 13482. 9th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of John and Elizabeth Jacques; husband of Margaret Anne Woodhouse (formerly Jacques), of 26, Forster St., Darlington. Killed 16 October 1917. Aged 22.
Born Newcastle-on-Tyne, Enlisted Boldon Colliery, Resided Darlington.

Private Percy Jarvis, 39018. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Ann Jarvis, of 4, Wards Terrace, Acomb, York. Killed 9 October 1917. Aged 20.
