of Robert and Catherine Brown, of 27, East Rainton, Fence Houses, Co. Durham.
Killed 5 November 1918. Aged 22.
Born East Rainton (Durham), Enlisted Houghton-le-Spring, Resided West Rainton.
Commemorated on Panel 5, VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL.

Killed 27 September 1916.

formerly 20246 the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of James and Agnes Middleton, of
8, Anderson St., Leamside, Co. Durham. Killed 25 April 1918. Aged 19.
Born West Rainton (Co. Durham), Enlisted Durham, Resided Leamside (Co. Durham).

Private Walter Scott. 45006. 13th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment.
Son of Caroline Scott, of 7, West Row, Middle Rainton, Fence Houses, Co. Durham,
and the late Thomas Scott. Died 13 April 1918. Aged 19.
Born Shincliffe, Enlisted Houghton-le-Spring, Resided Middle Rainton.

Private Isaac Smith, 18919. 6th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Husband of Margaret Wilkinson (formerly Smith), of 4, West Row, Freehold,
Leamside, Fence Houses, Co. Durham. Died at home 24 September 1916. Aged 22.
Born Sherburn Hill (Durham), Enlisted Houghton-le-Spring, Resided Leamside.
Buried ORPINGTON ALL SAINTS CHURCHYARD EXTENSION.

Husband of Margaret Warin, of 34, South View, Colliery Row, Fence Houses.
Died of wounds, at home, 7 September 1916. Aged 32.
Born Richmond (Yorks), Enlisted Sunderland, Resided Leaveside (Durham).

10th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late John George Wilson.
Killed 2 April 1917. Aged 22.
Born Shilton Moor (Durham), Enlisted Houghton-le-Spring, Resided High Moorsey
(Hetton-le-Hole).
Buried DOUCHY-LES-AYETTE BRITISH CEMETERY.
